Established in 1974, Area Five Agency on Aging and Community Services is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged members of North Central Indiana.

Accounting Clerk – Logansport (full-time)
This position include assisting the accounting department by performing the following job duties: Process vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, records and reports; process claims for reimbursement; verifies and posts details of business transactions such as funds received; provides quality checks of receipts, deposits and payroll documents, including payroll taxes and reports; tabulates statistical data for presentation in budget reports; documents appropriate program information and maintains records. High school diploma or GED and two to three years related experience and/or training in accounting or bookkeeping activities. Experience with Excel preferred. This position offers future growth and promotion within the accounting department. Compensation based on experience.
Family Support Specialist – Miami/Wabash Counties (full-time)
Healthy Families is a home visitation program in which you will apply working knowledge of parent-child interaction, child development, safety issues, and the dynamics of child abuse and neglect to help enrolled families improve parenting skills and reduce family stress. Must be able to accurately prepare reports, documentation & data entry, communicate effectively, handle crisis situations in a calm manner, type & have computer knowledge, be organized and efficiently manage time. College degree preferred and/or one to three years’ experience or training working with infants and young children and in working with parents. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of car insurance.
