The Guardianship VASIA Program is in need of a full-time Staff Coordinator who will be acting Guardian for clients in Howard and Cass Counties. Duties will include working within the Court Systems, working with Attorneys, making client care decisions, assisting with finding a payee rep, training volunteers, and other duties as assigned by Guardianship Program Manager. This position prefers a 4-year degree and 3-5 years of social services related experience.
EAP Client Service Specialist - 6 Temporary Part-Time Positions - 2 Cass County Office / 4 Howard County Office / 1 Tipton County Office
No supervisory responsibilities. Bi-lingual applicants are preferred for Cass County positions; however not exclusively. Individual is responsible for taking EAP applications, data entry, providing Energy Education and secretarial duties as needed. Work with clients and negotiate with utility vendors. Individual must have interpersonal skills which allow for effective communication with clients and utility vendors, maintain good organizational skills, and are able to calculate income efficiently. Options Counselor – Logansport (full-time)
Counsels and aids individuals and families requiring information and assistance. Provides direct Options Counseling by assessing and analyzing client requests and/or needs; explores problem resolution alternatives. Completes insurance application assistance and understanding; facilitate referrals to community and agency programs; and intervention as appropriate. Qualifications: A Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional who meets the requirements at 42 CFR 483.430, or; a registered nurse with one year’s experience in human services, or; a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, gerontology, nursing, health and human services, or; a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of two years of full-time, direct-service experience with the elderly or disabled (this experience includes assessment, care plan development, and monitoring), or; a master’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience.
I&R Intake Specialist – Logansport (full-time)
Assists clients in completion of health insurance applications, outreach to community partners, educating community members on health & insurance options.
Case Manager – Kokomo
Perform In-home and nursing facility visits with client to determine needs and eligibility to make individual more independent in the home and community. Set up and monitor services on an ongoing basis. Work with many different agencies and providers to ensure client’s safety and well-being is met. Must have reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance. Computer skills, communication skills, and knowledge of community agency programs are helpful. Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (4 yr. degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Gerontology, Nursing, or Health & Human Services; OR Bachelor’s degree (4 yr. degree) in any field with a minimum of two years full-time, direct service experience with the elderly or disabled which includes assessment, care plan development and monitoring; OR Registered nurse with one year’s experience in human services; or
(Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience)
Head Start Bus Monitor – Logansport and Rochester
25 hours per week. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bus Driver- 1 in Rochester & 1 in Logansport (part-time)
Duties include planning and executing transportation services for young children, while maintaining compliance with licensing, performance standards, and state police inspections.
Must be able to lift a preschool child, pass a required physical, complete paperwork within a deadline, and follow manager directives. High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a CDL with a Passenger and School Bus Endorsement. Would be willing to work with individual in obtaining the credential.
